I have a work blackberry, but unless your has the blackberry service running on you exchange server then its a good phone with a some apps.

but for email with exhange server its the doggs bits. its just like using outlook, the calender from work updoes live and when you read a email its marked as read on your laptop out look.

so work thinks you are working all the time as you can respond 24/7 and they don't know you sitting in the pub. lol

I have the curve 9000, got it in april this year and it took me the whole of about 30 minutes to work out the basics i needed.

Amazing piece of kit and the perfect tool for my use, email on the go via t-mobiles imap integration works flawlessly and it is a great tool.

Ian, if its works emails, then blackberry is the way, they are great.
Jobs we get passed, i copy the details into my calendar in outlook on the laptop and they are automatically synced to my BB
Im just waiting for the BES server upgrade as when you have 2 BB's on the server and you want to erase the details of one of them, it automatically does the bottom one.
I found out the hard way and had to leave it for another hour to load the service books back on to one id deleted!!

Personal use, get an iphone, business use, BB all the way

Woah hostility their!!!

First of all, I agreed with you on using a BB for business e-mail because of the e-mail functionality.

But I also said, if its not for work use and is just personal then an iPhone is a better choice.

But if you want to get all personal and really start compairing then Apple does have a VERY good e-mail service called mobile me.

http://www.apple.com/mobileme/features/

Which, you have push e-mail (e-mail arrives on your iPhone moments after someone sends it) and all your calenders and contacts automatically update, via push on iPhone, A MAC PC and an Outlook Exchange PC too.

Have a look and then let me know if its as good as your BBs.
