Apart from the however many fish i have in my pond outside i don't have any pets anymore..
Both my dogs are here though ..
Harry in the big urn, fucking huge ex racing greyhound rescued at 11, they thought he had at the most two months max to live but he ended up going a couple of years in the end..He didn't have a very good life until he came to my house, scars everywhere made me so sad.
And in the small urn is Cody, Whippet/Terrier cross, used to chase trains along the path down the canal near me, man could he fucking run, was insane to watch really.
Miss them both, Harry went 17th october 2000 and cody 19th december 2001.
Some great pics here though, i'd love another dog or cat...

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Some cool pets on here, loving the reptiles/lizards. I'd love a couple of geko's but the mrs draws the line at the ferrets for slightly odd pets!
We had 2 cats at our old house, they had been in the Mrs' family from kittens so we adopted them they were both around 21 when they disappeared to die. 1 tortoiseshell and one black and white. Sadly we never took any pics.
We've had 6 guinea pigs before the current ones including a long haired pedigree thing.
Here's the Ferrets i had up in my thread a while ago, you can see they've grown in the month i've had them. The rescue centre had only had them a month before me.
Colin is the silver one and Alistair the Albino
Egg our absynnian Guinea Pig
Pachow
Hokey
Bramley Daughters black velveteen english lop
Minky daughters other Velveteen
Finally Sally our blue nederland dwarf

this is oscar which we rescued when he was 10yrs old , he lived in a pet shop and shared a gage with a amazon called george but the owner didnt want him anymore as it was bad advertisment for his shop to have feather pucked bird . he was nasty as fook when we first got him , ripped chuck out of me but i stuck with him , had training off a very good friend whos a parrot behaviourist and went to see him every night after work. slowly he stood on my leg , then my hand and by the end of week 1 he was on my shoulder dancing to music and giving me kisses , now we are bonded like father and son which is strange as i never wanted a parrot in the first place , but now if anything happened to him i would be very , very sad , and people say they are only pets !
soz for the pics but they are taken from other pics
here he is as we got him
notice how short his tail was because of biting his feathers, poor little git couldnt even balance properly
wooly jumper time
five years on and this is how he is now
hes a little smasher ! (and a little git sometimes)

cheers chick , we had one called buzz and he died after 2 months which we brought from a bird show and had been force fed to plump him up for sale , he loved the missus to bits and coped with me so she was devastasted , one minute fine then in the middle of the night we heard a crash ran down stairs and he couldnt even stand up , he was lifeless , took him to our very good friend who knows everything about parrots and she took one look and said he wont make it through the night , next day i had to pick him up from the vets , i opened the towl and and his eyes had skunk and dried up , all limp , a very sad day , bless him . the vet said he had an enlarged liver and didnt stand a chance. the only good thing to come out of it was us getting offered oscar the next day , it was hard for the missus and she didnt want him as he was really nasty , now hes fully trained to attack her on command , every morning she comes running in the bedroom cause hes chasing her feet hes blood quick when he gets going , hes a proper daddies boy

Haha yeah he is, if you get him out when the telly is on, hi'll sit on the sofa and stare at the telly for hours. Dunno if its the bright lights that attracting him or something, cos I know their eyesight isn't that great!
I occasionally give him those nuts on a stick thing, within an hour he'd have stripped all the nuts off, piled them up in a corner and eaten the plastic stick I don't think he quite gets it somehow
