But they had no reason to go except Regan telling them they should be going to try and show up the russians. No one spends money one anything anymore unless they can get something out of it.

But now they have discovered H3 and is use as fuel for Fusion reactors adn there is a competition running at the moment to send someone back to start mining it. Privte companies all over the world are involved in it now.

Documentaries aren't always factual mate! There are loads of 'ooh it's fake because the flag was blowing in the wind' type of conspiracies doing the rounds. Do a little digging and there's always a reason for the supposed fake bit.

I watched that docu. on bbc 2 last night and still think its was a hoax.
I found it a bit strange how they used state of the art computers that basicly shat themselves after a few sensor alarms went off yet they someone managed to send/recieve perfect radio and live TV(is that even possible?) transmisson. Christ we can't even get live TV trans now without loss of sound, picture of both and a delay of around 3 seconds.....now the moon is a little further away than t'other end of the world but ive not really looked into it and it still sounds dodgy to me.

Maybe a fake so as to have beat the rival countries and retain "leader/super power" status in the world of polotics.

If it wasn't then I think alot of staged stuff was done to show the world and gain the interest as maybe stuff that was film or picture taken may have been rubbish and uninspiring.

Basically create images and film to show how it looked and stuff that the public would want to see.

Certainly, alot of the photo's are very suspect, lighting, perfect focus and composition from someone in an inflated suite with very little ability to move and working from guess work on what the camera was seeing as they were attached to the chest and no view finder.

They had the Technology to do it so why disbelieve it seems strange.
But certain humans need these conspiracy theories. must have been 10000 people in on it at least to pull it off, can just imagine all those people remaining loyal to JFK when a billion bucks was there to anyone that leaked it.

i think it was faked, at the time they were uncappable of landing a rocket back on earth, yet they could land it on the moon and still able to genearate enough power to break it free from the moons gravity (although much less than ours, is still quite significant) AND produce enough power/speed to get back to earth after jettesoning (sp?) all its fuel tanks? All sounds a little far fetched to me

In my view, true (as in we went there), but as with most things, more to it than we will probably ever know.

More interesting than that is the views on Extra Terrestrials that the ex astronauts have, and some of the wierd shit they saw in space. Quite interesting. But you don't hear about that so much.

Thats easy to explain, the sun was shining. Cameras were set for daylight exposure, and could not detect the faint points of light just like a camera cant see stars during the day on earth. Camera settings can turn a well-lit background into ink-black when the foreground object is brightly lit, forcing the camera to increase shutter speed in order not to have the foreground light completely wash out the image.

IE from the fucking moon surface?

with basic equipment from radio shack,even then you could work out the it was comming from the moon surface.
