Use a good oil, get a baffled sump, check ALL fliuds and get some decent brake fliud.

assuming you have the basics right already? safe AFR, decent breather, and a rewired fuel pump

the you'll need a decent oil (pro s 10/50)
decent set of brake pads with 5.1 fluid
baffled sump is ideal
oil cooler

make sure you have no air locks, never hurts to give the system a flush and use the right ratio of antifreeze/summer coolant

it might help if you tell us what you've got already to be honest

assuming its got a safe map, then that's all good

personally i'd fit a baffled sump and an oil cooler
decent set of pads and decent fluid as above ^
