Help on window mech for Escos.
The metal cable has broke on my passenger side electric window mech, can it be replaced or do i have to get a new one.Is a manual mech the same as the electric, just with out the motor & do fords still sell them.CheeRS Rich

manual and electric are different..get one from a scrappy, they are the same as any escort j reg onwards..if its second hand spray some wd40 type stuff in the motor and grease up al the moving parts on the mech..they tend to slow down with age/use but this does help a lot quite often
