agree with the comments above, awsome to look at, but why do they have to kill it? doesn't make sense to me, if it was prowling the shores eating up people and wouldn't fook off then fair enough, something needs to be done. But killing an innocent shark for no apparnent reason is disgusting.

what the hell did they put a rope around its tail for - at the sight of that at the side of the boat i'd cut it away - too bit for a boat that size to mess with!

only place ive ever felt properly safe from sharks is in the waters off the coast of mexico cos there are nets further out to stop sharks getting in. probably not a threat at all but its still in my mind - damn jaws films!!

mattbibs, yeah, I have heard of this system. did you know that when they actualy brought the nets up to see what it had stopped most of the sharks were swimming away from shore i.e. on the WRONG side of the nets
i hate seeing stuff like this

Pulling a boat is pretty impressive,shame shark catchers dont have the same thing bull fighters do! when a bull fights so valiently they let it live can ya guess what there called!

But at the end of the day seeing that shark dead doesnt quite fill me with the rage that seeing some candian twat clubbing a seal pup does! would love to have been there with a baseball bat to club them to see if they thought it was humane!

) Just come back form hols and was lucky enough to have a few sharks join us during some dives. They are awsome and so sleek in the water. Just love them...

Two Great White Sharks have killed a teenage surfer off a popular beach in southern Australia.
The 18-year-old man was attacked after falling from a surfboard being towed behind a boat at West Beach in the city of Adelaide, authorities said.

Shame to see such a beautiful perfect creature killed for no fooking reason again !!
Typical of mankind(who incidentally is the only creature on the planet that kills for kicks....)
Pricks should leave nature alone.....it`s wrong to upset the balance by killing everything,we`ll pay the price one day......
