Hi all
Hello all, my names andrewim 19, ive just joined up.
Ive always wanted an escort series 2 rs turbo since i can remember, so im saving up at the minute to hopefully get one next year. I wont be using it everyday just at weekends or good weather. So ive joined here to see other escorts and gain some knowledge.

I would like to buy a mint rs turbo for around Ł5000, and just have it for the weekends ect and keep it pretty much standard but i also really like an 03 focus RS so may just look at selling the fiesta and buying one of them next year instead of getting a escort not sure. There is pro's and con's.

Keep the Fiesta ST and save the cash. Maybe you'll save enough to buy a Focus RS MK2

I know what you mean there is no pros of an old escort compared to a focus rs, but its just been my dream car since i was a lad, i did all my school projects on a series 2 rs turbo lol.
I would just like to own a mint clean one a get a good year weekend drives out of it, but i may save the cash and treat myself with a focus RS for a good everyday car. Thing is my budget would be 10k and ill have to wait two years, where the escort would be next year, and id have to pick one up the around 60,000 miles.

Prob go for the escort and in a few years no doubt i will own a Focus RS.
Im sure it will take me ages until i come across i clean escort with full service history, not to many owners and low miles and not to many engine mods and most importantly no rust (as little as possible)

Yea retro cool on standard alloys, full stainless steel exhaust system and baileys dump vale cannot wait to come across one. Will enjoy my sunday driving im sure.
