Was speaking to a mate about 'what would you change' the other day.

I would have got directions to the place I decided to take my date, as she soon realised we had passed the same building three times, and by then she had to be home and we got a KFC on the way back, and she never spoke to me again. Such a shame. That's small time I guess.

I have a lot of things I regret not doing, but nothing really I regret having done.
One thing would be maybe not starting my degree, and living away from home for a year and a half on mostly the parents' money, then leaving with nothing to show for what they'd sacrificed for me.

Going to hospital after i woke up bleeding everywhere. Was such a mental battle choosing between going back to sleep, knowing i wouldnt wake up, with an easy and peaceful end or choosing to go to A+E. I choose to go to A+E. So often i wish i hadnt as it would have solved a load of problems and at that time, nobody really would have missed me or really cared.
Things have changed slightly now as my half sister i hadnt met back then made contact and we get on and to kill myself now would cause her a lot of suffering so it would be selfish and therefore isnt a viable option while still in contact.

You are right though, I've done a lot of bad things and been in some bad situations but out of all those things came a changed person and I do believe someone had to be watching over me to help me deal with most of it.

There are far too many things I wouldve done differently to list but the one that sticks out in my mind would be not having enough time for my dad. I should've made more of an effort with him but now he's gone it's too late. 
Still, can't change the past as much as we would like to.

I think its good, some people need to talk and want to get things off their chest.
It reminds me of that thread Stu started a while ago, was some great reading on that although mainly sad stories but no doubt the people posting felt a damn sight better for opening up about things as its not always easy.
