Ok so me and the wife are going to be buying an escort cosworth or now it seems maybe an evo VI. (if i can make my mind up)

We also have 5 grand to spend on mods

Now if either car is standard, what bhp can we achieve with 5k??? not including suspension, brakes, bling etc.... (purely 5k on the engine)

 

just Ł5k on the engine, i'd say well over a fully reliable 400bhp

 

On a Evo 2k will get you around 370hp + exhaust.

Tiff Autronic Ecu,Fuel pressure reg,Fuel pump,1.6bar boost, you need a exhaust,These reg show 275hp ATW which works out to 350 to 370hp ATF,
When you add Intercooler and airfilter up 295hp ATW.
