ring merchant services, complain, they send you new one

alternatively it could be down to your paper stocks going shit with time... do you have any NEW rolls? (ie not ones that have been stuck in the cupboard for 6 months)

Is the paper in the right way up.?

"IF" it is thermal (and without ink it 99% certainly should be thermal) then the thermal paper reel needs to be loaded in the right way.
