Default Snap on tools?

Anyone know where I can pick up a socket set from the snap on van?

In my area?

Can't find much on the net and it's always going back to ebay....

Thanks

Naa I don't want to pay Halford prices......

I'm after a Blue point Socket set 3/8 drive.

Can anyone buy off the van? How can I contact him otherwise?

The box sets are good! Very quick way to build up a good selection of tools - i didn't need to buy much more 3/8 stuff after i got mine

Yeah really do need a new set. I have a 1/2 socket set which is best part of 10 years old and it's missing a couple of all important sizes and I can feel the rachet is on it's way out.

So this time i'm gonna buy a qaulity one.

Might as well buy the cheaper stuff mate .. BluePoint is not the same as Scrap-on Quality TBH .. Cromwell Tools is the place on the Team Valley ..

http://www.cromwell.co.uk/

I havent bought any Crap-On tools for years .. I always buy CAT tools with the discount ..

i love the way people compare snap on to halfords professional. laughable.

as said visit the local garages in the area or keep your eyes peeled for the van they will have the name and phone numbers on the side of the dealer.

I agree 100% mate

Its like saying B=Q"s emulsion paint is just as good as crowns

Yes the b+q paint does the job but you wouldnt wanna use it if you were a painter by trade and used it ever day would you ( 18 coats later )

2nd'd.

I've broke 2 1/4 drive halfords pro ratchets after only a weeks use and no, i've not been using a bar or anything on them, just normal use and they won't cover moving parts, so as the ratchet slips it's not covered!
