Default frst question

my car is runing on standard chip and aparently has never been chiped only mods to engine are k&n, and full mongoose and its on 87k. how wise would it be to get 165 chip, cams and head ported and polished without a bottom end rebuild. i know idealy you would do the bottom end at the same time but cash come into it. or is this just asking for trouble? should i just save up for a full rebuild.

if you going to want more power in the future then i suggest you save for a re-build and do it all properly!

but it depends on the condition of your engine. if looked after properly and had regular oil changes then the engine should be able to take a lot of abuse! chipping it and slightly more boost shouldnt be a problem!

havent done that to mine so cant really say for sure.

depending on the boost you wanting to run i would guess between 150-160bhp at the fly.
