Just for a laugh (and out of curiosity) I put my car details in there - 2000W Mondeo ST200 estate, and it came back with a quote of £585! I then realised why as I had put the wrong numberplate in. So I corrected it and got £265! Bloody bargain!!

The sad thing is, it probably has.

I sold my Fiesta ST to them because they offered more for it than any of the Ford dealers I approached..... but then again, when they put it back up for sale, it was also £1500 more than I had paid for it in the first place....

That's one of the car supermarkets, Carcraft.

Good idea imo and you'd be surprised how many cars they buy through it, we get offered quite a few from them.

They're in it to make money so of course the values are going to be lower than what a bunch of car enthusiasts would expect for their own cars. Plus I can guarantee that whatever price you are given over the web, they'll bid you less when you get there

I bought a banger of a Pug 106 a few months ago. Paid £156 for it (That was a bargain though!). WeBuyAnyCar are offering me £180 for it right now and I have declared the huge dent in the drivers door. Result!
