i really cant see the point in owning that car.
it would cost you a fortune to buy, and every time you drive it, it would drop in value like a brick!
I just dont like to see cars cook'd up in gararges all their lives and not being driven.
Drive your cars !!!

whats the point though, everything on it is still over 20 years old, suprised block hasnt cracked or engine seized. Waste of a car should be driven..

My uncle had a 25k mile Sapphire Cosworth. He bought it from a farmer like this and then it just sat in his shed for years after that. Every time he drove it something broke with it just having sat about. Don't see the point myself! Each to their own though, and it is interesting to find one with such low mileage.

Looks good!
A close friend and RS enthusiast was talking about 500's on sunday, he just picked up a saph from down Glasgow and said that there's an old guy down there that drives some kind of Ferrari, and has 5 Rs500's. Apprently he got talking to some folk with RS's one day and he said "they're nice, i've got 5 RS500's in my garage", drove away in a ferrari and came back with two of them, one only had 2k miles on it. If i read that story on here I'd be sceptical, but the person that told me this I believe 100%. Needless to say i asked if they were for sale.
Doubt anyone will know about these ones though as they can't be out very often. Anyway, believe it if you want, i've never seen the cars and doubt i ever will.

i thought all rs500's had the build number where the window switch's are? when theres rs500's on ebay lots of people on car sites say straight away, where the build number plate gone?? it must fake.
so not all 500's have them then?
