A lot of noise comes from elsewhere other than the exhaust as well, ie induction, cone filter massively louder than panel filter in airbox.
Wouldn't think power output is going to affect noise levels from exhaust much, mines no noisier now than when at stg1.

If the exhaust only has a back box it will be louder than an exhaust with a few silencers in it.

mines a tad noisier than it was at stage 1, i have a mongoose 4" exhaust, but it still has all the box's in, its fairly quiet really. can hardly hear it at 70-80 mph.

just a hyperthetical question and i knew i would get this sort of a answer tbh

just thinking of croft with the 95db limit and how many cars will actually get on track and the 0-60 with such a low noise level

I thought it may have been Croft related. Lol.

Mine has a small centre silencer and the back box and it still is quite loud. Not a clue what system is on it. Nowhere near the 4" from turbo back thing I used to have on my white Sapph which had only a back box on and was deafeningly loud.

A cossie stage 3, magnex with no centre boxes sounds pretty meaty at 6k revs

A goose at idle can sound nice but not subaru loud.

I think a normal goose etc passes the noise limits. SOme people have an extra rear silencer for track. Looks awful but serves a purpose

I have a custom 3" system with one rear box only and at 4000rpm static it's 96db.

Before i had the middle box removed it was under 90db.

Stg3 with Scorpion and only the back box is very loud, but sounds awesome
