i spend an hour a session on one body part, eg, one session on arms, one on back, legs, shoulders etc.
doing different typs of excersises with weights, machines etc.
I dont see the point in tryin to cram it all into one work out coz by the time u come to the last 1 or 2 muscle groups u have used up most of your energy and dont get the full benefit you would if you concentrated on that body part in on session.
spreading ti out it the best way.

60 to 90 minutes. To build muscle you want short intense workouts ideally.
p.s steam rooms etc have been proven to reduce muscle gain after the gym, and it best to do cardio after weights to lose fat.

40 mins cardio, 20 mins on weights etc but will increase time spent on weights when I get more programmed into my profile as only just joined this gym.
Then i do about 30 mins swimming and then go into steam room and jacuzzi.

When I am trying to build muscle, I only spend about 40 minutes lifting weights. It's all about the effort you put in, and your form so you are actually working the muscles properly. Although saying that, I have never reached anywhere near my natural limits...so the gains always come pretty quickly before I lose interest for another month or so. Lol

90 mins, about 60 on CV stuff, don't use sauna at all, every other day normally.
A lot of peeps overtrain, which doesn't work, everytime you use a muscle it tears fibre, this needs to be repaired, by resting, nowhere near enough emphasis in put on the most important muscle, your heart with CV stuff, usually X trainer for me.

Depends on how busy the gym is but usually...
15mins cardio to warm up on bike, 1hr on weights on a specific body area, different area per day, then a further 15mins cardio to finish.

2 hours normally...
day on day off.. sometimes go the odd extra day and just do cardio
warm up consists of 10minute run uphill then work out for an hour n 45 on the weights.
also do alot of skipping to get the heart rate going!

Used to spend 1.5 hours. Used to do at least an hour on the treadmill then cool down on x-trainer then bike.
Then I hit the road and stopped going. I ended up only using the gym when I picked an injury up.
Then they put my membership up from Ł24 per month to Ł32 in one go so I cancelled it.
Usually do 30-40 miles per week road running now.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Swim 1k (30 mins), cycle 20k (45 mins) and run 10k (35 mins) although the machines we use arn't calibrated so I tend to cycle and run on time not distance.
Tuesday - Chest and shoulders, light weight high reps roughly 90 mins
Thursday - Back and arms again light weight high reps roughly 90 mins
Im a pti so also have to take guys for pt on tuesdays, thursday and fridays so by the weekend im pretty dead, its a lot of time in the gym but stuck out in the falklands there isn't a lot else to do!!!

I used to spend ages, I was leaving work at 5.30 ( gym on way home ) and not getting in till about 9.00.
Now I cut it down to 45-60 mins max and a bit of a ponce about in the jacuzzi.
I tend to do half hour cv on the bike or a brisk steep up hill walk and then I do arms, shoulders, chest and back on the free weights. I try to go 4 times a week and alternate which weights I do first/last and whether I do cv before or after.
My aim with the gym is to stay fit and healthy as I dont play sports and to tone up my body so I look ok in a t shirt.
Nothing else.
I have a life, I'll never be a professional athlete or similar so any more is simply not required and to top it off I simply aint that arsed!
