5 speed means it's a phase one, so you'll be missing a bit of spec, but nothing major I'm sure you'll be able to tidy it up

I'll be trading mine next year for a different colour, so if you fancy mine (bear in mind i'm a bufty boy so it's damn shiny ) just give me a shout in June!

On phase one you'll be missing the 6 speed box (obviously), powerfold mirrors, the brushed ally heated screen etc buttons, and brushed ally upper dash insert, the premium Sony 6 disc in dash headunit, and also possibly the variably heated seats.

You have a tape player in the dash, and a six disc changer in the boot

The seats are amazingly comfortable and also supportive - i prefer them to pretty much all others that i've sat in. 8 way electrics and variable heating controls never hurt anyone either

As for induction kits.... the cars sound the nuts when you put your foot down as standard and even better with an induction kit. I'm not sure you can get an official one yet, but i know of a 220 near me with a kit that's been adapted to fit and it sounds great The only thing that stops me is that i love the noise the car makes when i want to go fast, so i'd like the induction kit.... but i also like it that i can cruise home in silence after a long shift at work so i'm reluctant to lose that ability...

HI Gaz

The mirrors are electric, but you mean they wont fold in themselves?

Aye your right about the ally effect, my centre console is all black!

Thank god the CD changers there (Stereo any good on these) Its got heated front seats, although Im not sure if thier variable as there are just 2 buttons on the centre console.

I know what you mean about the induction kit, however I drive fast everywhere so the noise wouldt be a problem, (Especially compared with the saph )

Cheers for your help & advice

No probs

Yeah your mirrors will be both heated and electric, but will be lacking the electric fold away function of the phase 2 cars. The same goes for your seats, the variable ones are identified by 5 led's next to the switches to indicate heat settings.

Although it's not the Sony one, you still have a high end Ford unit (if not, it's been robbed....) and the standard sounds are fine - i'd never go to the hassle of changing mine...

If you drive fast everywhere, definately induction kit then - the one near me sounds great, i love listening to the bloke give it a good bootful up the road
