Are GT35's.....
A surge turbo like the MD range???????
Just considering cams at the mo as the 10's have to go ....i am sure my port size is adequate...what do you think would happen if i went std inlet and 10 exhaust?....Would this just fook the power up or cause surge issues??????

id say no
The reason the MD turbos surge so badly are that they are MD's attempt to make GT series even better, they are Hybrid Turbos created from GT series parts.
They failed.
Far too much compressor flow compared to the turbine flow for most engines.

Isn't the turbo surge an issue because it is mis-matched to engine/head spec?? If the whole unit & ancilliaries are matched, surge won't be an issue.....

...it can only be down to cams if the head is ported well enuff i would guess??
...and i'd say i wont know what cams until i experiment on a dyno or take advice from a pro ROFL
