I have an idea that your wording 'sensible' could mean 'very very very cheap'
If I had a little more time I'd probably build an engine out of stuff I have lying around and drive it to central day for a bit of a trip down memory lane.

It's a hatchback, never liked the saloon shape. It was nearly an estate as I was originally going to build it for use as the family bus but the wife wanted an Impreza turbo instead so the Mondeo became mine.

Its worth whatever someone is prepared to pay, there will be plently who won't pay that amount but I only need one person who appreciates it for what it is.

Crying out for a big spec engine, would love to see how it did at top speed stuff compared to the Escort/Sierra.
6.4% less drag so 200mph with 655bhp the Escort/Saff need 700+bhp.
Pop 830bhp under the bonnet & 215mph would be possible. I did my homework just incase on this car .

i agree but 9k for this car is VERY strong money considering its not even a car as such but as said just takes one person to purchase it not 50 people dreaming about owning it

personally i would put an engine in it, i remember seeing the mondeo 17 or 18 years ago at Donnington, there are only 2 cars that i got excited about just by seeing them and that was your mondeo Martin and Paul Baileys RS2000 , would be a shame to no let it live again.

You may get your wish as I have someone that's interested but wants it as complete car, if not I will just have to keep it and build a monster for it one day..
