every part of your body grows as you get older and head towards your later teens, it's just that some part grow less compared to others throughout your lifetime
your ears keep growing, they don't stop, and, as babies, your head grows from the front so that you have a bigger forehead area in comparison to the back of your head (mainly for your mouth, nose and eyes to fill) so babies have an eye/ear line about 2/3rds of the way up their heads whereas fully grown adults have their eye/ear line more central
