Default dastek unichip

are these any good,ive currently got the chance to buy one but dont know whether i can use it with beige injectors as the ecu has got a 165 chip in it at the moment,or would i be best to just try and find an ofac 195 chip

Are these the ones Owen developments sell? My friend had one put on his Audi 90 Quattro 20valve but AFAIK they are just a piggyback chip - Owen Developments probably be able to give you some more info if MSDSTU can't help ( or check the 'Similar Threads' at the bottom of page )

They are SHIT......... My brother bought one, had it all set up at dastek and it caused no end of hassle... I ended up removing it and chucking it away.

conversely i've had mine on my supercharged zetec for coming on 3 years and had no problems at all.
they were a bit limited, but nowadays they do more and its possible to have up to 5 maps i believe.

you can get a dealer nearest to you to install and map it from dastek

im just not sure whether to get it if i cant use the beige injectors with the 165 chip and dastek chip,if i need to get a 195 chip i may aswell just get the 195 chip and get it setup with the single chip
