LOL @ Craig
MrB - Sounds like a plan - Definately a West Yorkshire meet is in order as the South Yorkshire one was too far for most people and it died a death after someone had their wheels pinched off an ST220 from the pub carpark

Hi Mate,
Your right Long-time no speak!
Not been on here much to be honest. I’m good, how about you?
I’m gutted were not going to Germany this year but on the other hand it has been nice going doing other things for a change.
I still buzz about the ‘dash for the ferry’ run last year! Wish I would have filmed the last hour, it was mad!
Plus after finally making the boat it was followed by a most enjoyable night! Remember Fritzal! Ha ha

Mirfield...... and also lived in Normanton, Liversedge and Batley.... my local could definitely do with livening up.... there's a big car park too.
On the other hand, if anyone's gonna organise a meet, please don't let it be at the Three Nuns.... as its a crap pub....

Gutted you can't make it again, the rush to the ferry was obscene, especially on the phone to P&O saying "They best hold the ferry as someone will die at the speeds we are going" while doing 100mph down the ferry approach roads pmsl
Fritzle was absolutey wasted - I bet he was bagged and returned at customs after the copious quantity of beer he drunk on board
Roll on 12 days time!!!!!!!

Good choice, XROC have their pub meets there.... its an okay place, not sure what their menu for food is like through the week, but I know that now its under new management they ONLY do a Sunday lunch on a Sunday. The previous owners did paninis and all sorts, and would even do you a bowl of chips... no such luck with this new lot... lol

Never been to the old corn mill - and the menu at the post office is dire
I suggest "The Old Mill" at Horbury - just at the bottom of Horbury road where the motorway goes over the top - used to be called "The Trading Post".
Great food, cheap beer and all food is 2-4-1 and the portions are good sized aswell, friendly staff, easy to get to, massive carpark and it has CCTV coverage too
I eat there regular so know the manager

Im thinking we should arrange the Horbury Trading Post, or even the Rhubarb Triangle just off Junction 41, easy to find for some people from Huddersfield way ect..

Not sure if I am welcome in the Rhubarb Triangle after my last visit - it was rather eventful
Trading Post, AKA the Old Mill at Horbury (Benson Lane) is a top place so lets have it there
