My opinion on the insurance is this:
3rd party damage (ie other cars and the ring) normal uk road insurance will pay out, as I firmly believe they have no choice and my own experience backs this up
Your own car, they will try and avoid paying out

Have you set the dates for august yet?
Was thinking of trying to get over in september, but august could be ok instead.
Think I might take my calibra and just slowly potter around perfecting my lines as Im unlikely to get insurance sorted on the nova for it I suspect, got to be under 10 mins in the calibra anyway though im sure, even with only the N/A V6, but wouldnt really care about times anyway.

September could be good - I'll have to have a look at the rota at work and see when I can use a couple of floating days round NOD days to make it a longer weekend

just like to say i had a great time and met some great people who i carnt thank enough for there help with sorting the problems out with the car on the way there and way back everyone helped out in some way with sorting the car and am very gratefull for it
i enjoyed a few passenger laps out in kelvs focus and niges evo which were realy good
and a big thanks to chip for comming out in the car round the ring and helping me and also for keeping his nerve alot better than me on the way back

Got back this morning, i've just been gradually coming down and now feel like i need to sleep for 3 days...
My man of the match lol, is Ian.. Fair play for coming down in such a hardcore car, that you had barely driven, and also hadn't met any of us before

When you see the photo on the website you're looking at, right click it, and click on properties.
