Well what can i say. One came up very cheap and i went for it. All i can say is awesome. fully loaded and extremely clean.

Well it is now ive sorted it.

Facelift
onboard computer
TV
sat nav
Full electrics
Elec memory heated seats
front and rear parking sensors
Xenons
Elec Sunroof

Even has full toolkit and torch in glovebox.

Wheels need a refurb but not to bad, couple of little scratchs on the rear bumper are the only marks.

All i can say is Awesome. if you hav'nt you must drive one.

Completely different sensation to a cossie though.

heres some pics.

im no professional cameraman so apologies about the pics.

comments always welcome.

Nice colour, not seen many like that.

You're right though, I must drive one! It's one of those cars that everyone really seems to go mad about.

Must be your camera settings... lol.
All you fuckers are really swaying me lately!

How do you rate the tickover sound?
I know when revved a little they sound nice, but looking on youtube they sound like a diesel at idle.
I know this is normal but is it bad with the bonnet down?

Ah come on mate I doubt anyone would pull this cos its got a price on it you said it was very cheap so others, including myself, are wondering how cheap you got that. Any mod that would pull it for that I think would be seriously unjustified. That aside very nice car and guessed it was a sort of gunmetal-ish grey colour

doubtfull they are 51 plates though?

I'd guess he paid around Ł7000 for it if it's Ł2k cheaper than most 100k mile 2001 models

What is with peoples obsession of asking how much something is/was?

Is it that you want to understand market conditions or you want to know you got a better deal or that he paid too much/got a steal?

Interested to understand.

Cheers

i would not want to be buying a below 6.5k one to be honest.....

it will be high mileage v reg or something.

glad JamesWRX knows what hes talking about though....

There is a cat D on autotrader with 140k and no history for Ł6995

Thats the cheapest within 60 miles from me.

Som im xtremely happy with what i paid.

Im obviosly comparing it to facelift 100k + cars though and they are anywhere from 9K and upto 13K.

Thanks again james.

Spot on!

i think most people want to know what things cost to see if the peson is just bulsh*ting or not.

i looked for a while and have a friend thats had 5 and he said this was bang on and very cheap.

So im happy.

just got back from going out in it and they are awesome in sport mode.

traction cuts in first 3 gears and thats in the dry

Then when you slow down its like driving a luxury car with everything you could want at youre fingertips.

honestly if you eve have a chance to buy or at leastdrive i would take it.

keep the cossie as a second car

no interior pics yet...

its a strange colour combo as it has dark green interior... The leather could be cleaner.

I will be getting it connolised and the wheels refurbed...

mine averages on a week around 19-20. i do alot of traffic on the route to and from work

i only managed the 33 figure on a real real steady cruise at 80mph, it seems to get better the faster you go lol...get it onto the motorway, reset the consumption fig, and see what she cruises at, it interesting to see how different driving styles change the consumption

not sure on ipod, sure there must be a way pal,

i cant say the k+ns made a big difference, a bit of noise, and the fact they last forever is why i did it tbh

mines limited to 155 in 6th, but they pull 186 in 5th std!
