Default help with shift light?

ok, ive got one of these fitted to my car but it came with a load of bits when i got the car so ive got no instructions

it has a speed shift function witch cuts the feed to the coil when you dip the clutch so you dont need to lift the throttle. problem is its pissing me off cause i normally heal and toe when changing down but with this fitted it just backfires when i blip the throttle

so does anyone know if im able to set it to not do this? one of the buttons is a "set shift" button and when i press it the function dissegages, but only till the next time i dip the clutch

anyone used one of these and know if i can sort it, or shall i just put a switch inline to the cutch wre
