I know it had to have a new clutch/gearbox ? after selling on to Flipper, but i didnt know that to be sure, how ever he got for a good price anyway
he got if Ł600 more than it cost me to get in that condition

I miss that car alot, but i hope someone is using it in a way more in the way an RS should be, instead of how i used it *sigh*

Watching the Tommi drive away was an emotional experience. I loved it. I did have the feeling I was going to hurt myself very badly in it shortly as I was just getting way out of hand in it. In my dream garage I would have another one in a second! (and will do one day)

ive only had the one car and it was shit, but i asked my dad and he said his S1 RST.
way back in '94, C- plate S1 which he sold for Ł800 because of a fault which turned out to be the water pump, was mint otherwise

My first S2 in white. Bought from a Ford Dealers on Portland, it was immaculate and I kept it that way. Saw it a few years later in Southampton, some 17 year old had it, still mint, but he'd modded it and to me, ruined it (F668 YRU where are you now)

My old MK2 Golf. Sold it to buy a house. Put a lot of money into that car and it was such a hoot to drive. Went in a second when I put it up for sale

My 2wd sapphire. Bought it from Simon Woolley (ex, used and abused daily until it dropped a valve and the verniers slipped
Rebuilt it and had a buyer for it and some twat of a neighbour who didn't like the car in bits on the communal driveway put a paving slab accross the A piller and roof line. Ended up breaking it. Still not been paid for the shell either
