Default Flatlander-IPP?

Anyone heard of/used http://www.flatlander-ipp.co.uk before?

Been looking about for some rods/pistons and for what I'm after, they're selling SCAT rods at £225 and Wiseco pistons for £305, searched about for ages and can't find anyone thats had a bad experience with them.

Even so, seems stupidly cheap some of the prices on there?

I've used them, and was sceptical too.

Everything comes straight from the states to their office in the UK and then to you.

Rick.

You have seen that their prices are subject to 25% increase (Currency fee as they call it) and that they don't include VAT? Once I had taken that into account with what I wanted to buy, they weren't that cheap.

Yeah just noticed that

But on the US site nothing seems to be added, worth a crack if I can get the stuff delivered to the US somewhere and then forwarded on, expect even with import duty it would work out cheaper

The 25% surcharge is to reflect recent global exchange rates turning to shit. That'll not be very different if you choose to buy from the US, the dollar was close to $2 to the pound last year, whereas now it's around $1.4 to the pound, so roughly 25% worse. You can't win mate, buying from the US isn't what it used to be. Certainly getting stuff through customs without being charged is less likely today than it was 5 years ago too!!
