Well after a really shit time with the car over the past 3 weeks nearly I finally picked her up today from NMS

To put a long story short:

* 1 fucked UT T38 turbo!
* Ordered a new TT T38 (Big pain in the wallet!!)
* Started mapping then...........POP!!!!!!
* One fucked head gasket!!!!!!!
* One new mountune 4 layer gasket fitted (Mucho pain in wallet!!!)
blah blah blah!!

Must say a massive thanks to Karl and Ollie who worked through their weekend to guarantee I had my car ready to be mapped and picked up today!!!

RESULT = One seriously fast escort cossie!!!!! The drive home was mint once I got used to the little bit of lag and started to rev her more she fucking flew!! 130+ is just unreal!!!

Wasn't just bad luck though tbh It really is awesome for the spec of it! Should be 430 ponies or there abouts which is enough for me

Because the UT turbo was fooked mate and Karl said that the cost to fix it from Turbo Technics would be uneconomical so I went for a brand new TT T38 as I needed it ASAP too.

Dunno cause the UT "t38" was fooked before it had any boost ran through it as I fitted it then drove the car to Karls on a base map chip with 0 boost, no ignition and a 5k limit.

How much did you pay for the WRC headgasket if you don't mind me asking?

 

It was done with labour etc by Karl and Ollie so you'd be better off speaking with them as it's a complex job etc to change them. Be sure your sitting down though when he tells you how much but well worth the piece of mind.

another thing to consider is Karl wont cut corners to keep the cost down he does the job right the first time so it will last unlike some other company's
