I have no idea what mk fiesta we are upto, but the one i am talking about is the Fiesta ST ones, not the brand new ones, just interested as the engines can be picked up pretty cheaply

I think the new Fiesta is a Mk7.

Dont think a Focus ST engine would fit in.

how different are the mounts on a normal 2.0 duratec Focus compared to the St ones, also mountings like gearbox etc, will the St engine fit the stud pattern of the Fiesta box?

I am not really concerned about engine mounts etc as all of the can be fabricated with relative ease and tbh I would want to use the ST225 gearbox if at all possible

its wide as fuck, to give an easy idea the engine itself wouldnt fit between the strut tops on a mk4 escort

if you fancy giving it a go you can have my full! st running gear and the mk6 fiesta (03 1.4 2 dr in dark met green) with a blown lump for 2.5k
running gear comes with tank, exhaust, rad pack, wiring, ecu etc etc everything, even the bed, shafts and box

Some chap on another forum I used to go on got the engine into a mk1 focus, however the gearbox, inlet/turbo/exhaust and everything else associated with it would not go.

Gonna be even tighter in a fiesta!

I doubt it mate there's not so much room left with the 2.0 duratec in let alone with another cylinder

as andy says you can make anything fit id personaly space frame the front and do it that way with it being a fiesta there aint much space

the connect has the same set up as a mk1 focus but the bay is a little more spacious
if it wont go in ill just space frame the front then cage the rest
