A colleague at work purchased 4 AC DC tickets for Hampden park on the 30th June 2009. They were sold out from ticketmaster etc within an instant (as soon as they went on sale) so he scoured the net for ticket tout type websites to buy 4. He bought 4 from "ticketingdirect.net" and believes he has now been scammed. He hasn't seen the tickets (they were bought Mid December) and when he looks at his credit card statement the currency was converted into some crazy hungarian currency, so it looks rather dodgy!

SO - thats a FYI on the scam and on to the crunch.

I need your experience/advice on where is a legitimate source to buy 4 AC DC standing tickets for the 30th of June in Hampden? I believe it will be some site that bought loads the day they were released and is re-selling them. Do you lads have any advice as we don't want a second scamming!

Porkie - those tickets will be good enough as they were originally only looking for the basic standing ones at around Ł50 original sale price.

tell him to contact his credit card company about it and he should be refunded. that's why you should always buy stuff on a cc.
