Default What sort of real world MPG do 4x4 RS2000's get?

Hi folks, I'm going to be moving in with the other half in about 6 weeks, so I am worried that I may find the 23mpg of the 328i a bit too much when that happens. I will be doing a bit less mileage per week when I move so it may even itself out, but if I do find I have to change, I don't want something totally devoid of enjoyment, and I'm not sure I could bring myself to have an MX5 as an every day car, as occaisonally work requires me to head to Scotland or down south.

So basically I just want to know what the mk6 RS2K 4x4 is like. I know it's not "fast" but what does it drink like? If I find I could only change to something that gets a few MPG more then it's obviously not worth it, as really, I don't want to change at all. I love my car!

It really won't be much better mate- and at least with your beemer the mpg will go up on a run- the rs2k 4x4 will be thirsty all the time.
depends on type of journeys i guess, 23mpg must be round town lots of stop starting?
my 2litre focus barely manages 28mpg doing those sorts of journeys.

My decatted 1.8 focus running 145bhp and Stage 2 cams manages around 26mpg with sensible driving in town.
