Default Clicking front brake HELP!!

Not long ago replaced the front discs and pads; kind of job you can do with eyes shut so sure it's all as should be.
Lately got clicking from osf, sometimes in straight line, worse (louder) when turning left.
As soon as you touch the brakes in the slightest it stops completely.
What the hell could this be?? It's driving me mad!!
NSF doesn't do it at all.
Also similar noise but rattling when over bumps, from same area.

What car?

Could be you need a new caliper pin/slide kit.
Maybe the backing plate is catching.
Woen CV.
Worn bearing....causing movement, enough for something to catch.
BIG fucking nail in yer tyre.
The 1 wheelnut that is left in is very loose.

Fuck knows mate, you best have a look.

Could be a sticking piston in your caliper

98 passat tdi.
New cv on there, and doesn't click on right full lock, as old one did.
No movement there at all.
Not a nail as brakes wouldn't stop that contacting road.
Wheelnuts are tight.
Have had a look.

Did think cv somehow, but couldn't think how touching brakes would stop it.

Would say pads loose, but don't understand how a left lock would make it worse?

I know backplate catching is worse on a lock, but not that sort of sound.
