i've got bronchitis 
don't know if it's infectious or not, but apparently i caught it from my daughter a few weeks ago when she was a bit poorly
so i'll be staying in for the next week

Don't know if I'm stating the obvious but "infectious" means spreading from one to another.
And as you "caught" it from your daughter.... then I'm making a guess it IS infectious.
