RC Model Car Shell Question
Right, I've a bit new to this;
I've bought a shell (1/10th) its clear lexan, and I'm totally useless at anything that involves any artistic flair. I'll be getting a Tamiya chassis for it I think.
My question is, can the shell be painted with propper car paint? The shell is a Subaru Legacy and I want to paint it the same colour as my road car (Titanium), but I guess the only way to match it is with Subaru Paint?
Anyone on here do anything with RC Cars? Ideally I'd like to find someone to paint it & cut it out etc for me as I'd make a right mess of it myself!
PS. Anyone know where to get propper replica RC wheels rather than just generic type spoked ones?

Wheels of all shapes and sized can be had from good model shops or online, Tamiya are great for their detail, as for the paint, I never had any issues using normal car paint, not to sound padantic, but you paint the inside and the lexan being clear gives it a nice glossy look, the key is just to take your time, use some very sharp sissors (sp) for the main parts an a sharp craft knife for the fiddly bits, then smooth it down with some wet and dry.
