these were what i had for my rouse theme i did, you wont get any closer than these to the genuine ones, only head rest is different

i even had the rouse sport badges made, and got rouse owners to chip in to get them made, still have about 10 of them somewhere

Hello.

I own Nş 91 Rouse Sport 304R.

It's in Portugal and it's the only LHD ever made by Andy.

My info is that 67 Rouse Sport were made, 6 were 2wd 302R and 61 were 4wd 304R, but I've heard that there were also 2 Sappphire 3 door in White that were also made by Andy, but I don't know if they are Genuine, or if they are custom buited cars....

Regards

Jorge

That's really interesting!

I never knew about those. Not a looker though I must say.

Any reason why it's a fair chunk slower than a proper Cosworth? As power is comparible obviously. Is it down to gearing or something perhaps?

What was the max speed?

Also, any idea how the CR was dropped on it?

The old man took a 5 door Rouse Sierra in p/ex about 13/14 years ago. It had Rouse seats, external kit, cossie engine and certification from Andy Rouse. It was white and sat on the old style white compomotives.

It was at the time no-one could get insured on cossies so it was stuck down an auction in Shoreham

I would love to know if anyone has any idea where it is now?? I've asked about this before over the years but no luck.

I know of at least 3 white Rouse 302-R's. Billy Thompson in sunderland had one with around 40k on the clocks which he sold 3 or 4 years back for 9k, theres a rough looking one on piston heads at the moment for sale and theres that one up above that RSLUBBY has kindly shown us.

Heres the one on pistonheads.
Seems to be for sale all the time.
Bit of work could possibly be really good.
Needs front splitter, std suspension and exhaust
Cheap price too

4k tops in this current climate needs a farvamount of money thrown at it to make it original again + I doubt it'll have any original documentation to go with it

I know someone who has been to see it and he said it's horrific underneath.

It's had a lot of welding done, no history and the fuel pipes have been damaged and repaired with rubber pipe

sorry but this really annoys me "Its cheap enough too"

if a car is too cheap it would have been sold on the day it was advertised

a car can be too cheap and put people off with say a crap ad and pics or write up with daft info or speeling mistakes.

if its cheap and you know it then buy it and use it for a bit and clean it up etc and sell it for more.

i think theres not many rouses because they look dodgy and that includes the seats.

good job rouse never did escorts is all i'll say hahaha
