Default Knockhill Time Attack predictions??

Just wondering what your thoughts are??

I don,t think anyone will get close to AG Focus tbh..

Can,t remember who won last years round, be interesting to see what lap time is was compared to how quick AG can lap it in....

I,ll be rooting for Ollie but i think it,ll be a lost cause..

Love the Focus too though.............

Cant see anyone betting much against andy, he certainly knows how to get round there quickly.

But im sure Ollie will give him a run for his money.

from what he said i think the mounting points for the diff where ripped from the body/chassis. so i think that means the hardware diff etc is all intact just needs some welding to the body to put the mounts back i think.
sounded raw tho

AG can lap knockhill in about 50 flat in the dry on slicks. Anyone got the best time from last year?

Guess all thats left to discuss is the margin created by the move from slicks to triple8s.

Itll all be bollocks anyway as its knockhill so theyll be driving around in 888s in stading water

Hell of a target to aim for that when not running slicks.

will defo be there to watch this one, andy is the favourite, but as always, who knows what could happen with cars churning out so much power anything can happen to them...... be good to see these cars giving it their all and the closer the battle the better i think, andy will love to have a close battle and push it to the limit to get it i think more than just a straight clean out victory.

out of interest? is charlie shaw entering into the knockhill one as well as a one off or is he not going to compete? would be good to see how good he can run against the others.

guess it just depends if the slicks to 888s make more difference than 2 seconds in the dry, gonna be interesting

888's are much better than i expected (esp 275 wide all round) so if i really pushed it i could miby get a 50 odd out then.

i've done 50 .000 on slicks during a race when i'm 4 secs a lap quicker than everyone so its hardly been a battle against the clock for me,, be good to push it hard for a fast lap

Andy:

You reckon the 888s are good for a 50 ish?

How much faster do you reckon you could go round if your life depended on it?

I remember getting a 1 min 3 in my rsturbo on slicks and passing most cars out on track. Appreciate a few things were faster, just meaning to point out HOW fast anything in the 40's must be. 4 laps and he would be up behind me again wanting past - that's hilarious lol

....providing the RS Turbo lasted 4 laps at that pace!!

I saw the MK2 Focus at Knockhill when it was white (think it was not long built??), it was seriously shifting and making everything else look very pedestrian.. and I assume its putting out more power than back then, so I'll be coming along for a nosey on the 17th. Will try and get a couple of digi-cam videos if possible.

Cheers,
Grant

The current Mk2 of andys has never been white iirc. Sprayed blue at birth. You may have seen his old one, (which is now also blue, charlie shaws car) when he first got it, as it had no stickers on when charlie bought it, and was white. Also fast as fuck too!!

Think that was it, sure it was on black MOs when I saw it... but I'm guessing it wears various different wheels/tyres at various different times.
