a music cd?
a video?
a dvd?
a book?
they all cost money and i'd rather they spent their time and efforts getting the mag out and up to date and good than spend time doing other stuff
although i suppose a bit of footage of the shows of the year wouldn't go amiss, even if it's an online thing

i'm a bit of a comic buff as some of you may have gathered and for most big titles, every once in a while they do alternate coveres to go along with the main covers, so you'll have the same contents, but it will be just a drawn cover, or a black and white one just to stand out that's sold along side the main covers
they also run a thing where, if a shop were to ask for, say, 50 copies, they would send them a silver covered edition for buying so many, this would be worth many times more due it's exclusivity, like this one even though it depends on the collectability of that particular issue denoting it's worth
and if they order 100 copies, then there is a gold cover, again, worth much more but costed at the same price to the buyer due to them buying in bulk, like this one
but, again, it's all about the desirability of the original comic contents rather than just buying a cover with a shit story
at least it shoudln't cost as much to print a different cover but it's a different take on things, and, as originator of this idea, i'd be expecting at least one copy of each cover

PassionFord Post Whore!!
For myself, posters and the like have absolutely NO value to me whatsoever and tend to go in the bin or filed away with the mag just in case someone ever wants to buy a collection of magazines.
A keyring might be better, but I doubt if I would use it.
Proper, professional stickers for recognised brand names (that are actually on my car!) like Koni, NGK, etc might find a place somewhere though I realise you are then involved in licensing etc so maybe just stick to a decent FF sticker?
The cheap, nasty labels with silly slogans also find a place - straight in my bin.

Nice to see a lot of the feature car owners on the thread.
Credit where it's due, some awesome motors out there!
Cochyn- I'm on the road again mate, and for something like the TENTH time, you will get a disc sorted once the issue is off sale!

Been looking all over for this issue, the garage near me seems to be at least a wk behind Really should get myself a subscription.
Justin Think this is an awsome idea, i'd love to get my mk1 frs up against a mk2. Mine's running about 320 though, but i am a fat lad so maybe i'd get away with the extra 20bhp
any chance we gona see a 300bhp mk1 take on the new mk2 rs sometime dan? i think we would all really love to see which is quicker and best on the track given the same power.this really would show if the new rs is any improvement on the old or whether good old ford just upped the power to make it better than the its older sibbling?

Cheers mate. I wasn't planning the engine I've got now when I put the brakes on!! Something like a nice reliable 200bhp should do it!!
