Mark, don't go to Fords, way too expensive.
What has exactly gone on them.
is it the 3 legged bearing on the end.
these are about £40 each from Woodford.
You could buy used drive shafts with then on, theres a set for sale in the parts section,may be complete.
I have fitted the 4x4 ones in mine,these are slightly longer and supposed to be better for lowered cars.
i have had no probs with mine.

the Shaft it's-self is fine! The inner CV is fine just the outer one is busted! The cage which holds the bearings in has collapsed! Bearings has dissapeared somewhere and my lovely compomotive have lots of CV grease on the inside of it now!
Had a passenger in the car and attempted to pull off...speedo was going mad (reading 60mph in 1st, lol) thought...Hmmmm something not right here
Got the passenger to simulate pulling away while i looked under the car...shaft was spinning well but the CV joint wasn't D'oh!

Jim - not when you've got very expensive Graham Goode uprated ones they ain't
Ross - APMSL car was making some wierd noises coming over the Orwell Bridge, things falling off n shit car continuly pulling hard to the left once every few seconds but car still going...pull over discovered CV joint was buggered...Phoned Mossy and he was coming to get us with a tow bar
So was just sitting in the layby with dipped beam on and all of a sudden this Autoglass tranny comes flying past me into the layby locked up hits the curb van nearly topals over and Till walks out...You alright mate he say....fuckin ell mate i was nearly dying with laughter
