i havnt tried mine foor more than a minute as the car is not fully finished but i didnt even get any bangs or flames etc. just a couple of black puffs of smoke.
willl ask stu to look at it when i send the ecu over as my lc isnt making much more boost than 2-3 psi on launch. but to be honest i cant ring stu till i get my rev counter working and see what revs the lc is set at as it may just be too low.
kev did you use the diodes yet? if so how did it work out for you?

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Im happy to admit I bought it just for the noises and cos I wanted to see what it was all about. It doesnt create any positive boost, just sits at 0psi holding it out of vacuum. The LC however allows me to sit on the spot at 3k rpm with up to just over 20psi positive boost. Fuckin useless in a rwd car but its all just for fun. Im a big kid

Obviously it depends how aggressively its set up on the individual car.
I know on mine the difference is significant as youve always got tons of boost with the antilag on. So no lag whatsoever, eg for some very sharp corners you can stay in 2nd but as you pull away past the apex your off boost and for maximum acceleration its a compromise between time to change to first before corner so youve got loads of torque, versus acceleration lost waiting for second to come on boost. With the antilag on just stay in 2nd and your on boost straight away so no need to change gear. Useful for hairpins too.
Not really needed for road use unless your absolutely spanking it on a dead private road . Plenty of use on rally cars though.
