Fair play to him imo. As said, its costing him nothing to get the word about, anyone interested will save the ad in their watched items, so when he does come to list the car for sale he can use the original advert, just alter the ad, and then it'll show up in peoples ebay page as a relisted item. He's basicaly set it up as a for sale ad that can run for as long as he likes for free until he's ready to sell.
Ive got no probs with ebay....Ive not yet been stung (172 feedback so yeah I do use it a fair bit) and I've had some absolutly cracking bargains off there as well as making some good money off there also.
no one. future interested buyers might bid a pound for the full spec list or likely just now know to look out for it in the near future.

Yes, that's why he's asking people not to bid. It's just the same as all these people who advertise breaking a car and then say if you bid you'll receive a wheelnut or something.

just a bloke desperate to show off his car to the world and what better way then on ebay for coverage. Obviosuly havent discovered forums yet with "post pics of your car" threads. I dont think his got any intentions of actually selling it.
