ok yes i know this is a ford site but to be hionest most of the ppl on the vw sites etc are fookin dinwits i know theres a fair few hands on type ppl on here



anyways wifeys golf mk4 gti turbo, i presume the fuel tank senders screwed as it allways ran out fuel at top of red and now its just reading full tank constantly lol


lifted the seat looks like theres an inspection plate, is the unit easy to remove? i presume its one whole unit pump and sender etc, is the sender bit easily replaced or shall i just buy a new whole unit?


just trying to get my head in the right direction before i order the bits

The wiring to the gauge could have just shorted out causing it to sit at full all the time? (dont know about the sender q sorry)

Just buy a sender mate, only clips on the fuel pump with 2 wires attached. Be careful with the terminals on the wires as they can break.

Piss easy job tbh.

oh fair doos thats what i wanted to hear, if its easy enough to replace the sender i pop up to vw and buy on then, cant be that dear
