good choice of car mate i had a yellow one last year and tbh was one of the best cars ive had.
Wont need anything else to get it mapped now either try customcode for the remap mate only heard good things about them, plus they also do mobile as well if they have a dealer in your area.

Smila, get on www.Briskoda.net and search the Octavia 1 forum on all the regular faults, etc and how to cure them (Which may have been done if yours is already modded). Main faults I remember are:
*Standard Dump valves break - Replace with Bailey DV30 or Forge item
*Front wishbones bushes wear - Replace with SuperPro bushes
*Clean throttle body as over time a hesitation between 1500 and 200rpm occurs (Mines had this for 10months and I just live with it as can't be bothered to repair it. Ive had the gasket sitting in the glovebox 8 months )
*Temperature sensors become faulty - Cheap to replace with genuine part
*Oxygen sensors become faulty - about £80 from Skoda and easy to replace
Good mods:
*Turbo Inlet Pipe restrict the turbo - Replace with Samco or Forge
*Rear dog bone engine mount bush - Replace with SuperPro bush
*Remap - Speak to Motorsport Developments (Stu) on here for an installer near you
Advice:
*Front tyres wear pretty quick (Mine have lasted about 12000miles), so don't bother with really good soft tyres that wear quickly anyway
Ive replaced the dog bone bush and Skoda have replaced the temperature sensor and front oxygen sesnor (Warranty) in 12months, so very lucky and happy with the car I still look at her when clean and love it
Editted to add a pic of mine:
Ive wanted some 18's since I brought it, but Im not copying everyone else with the usual RS4/6 wheels. So will have to wait till I find something different and look good
