Default Another rotten turbo...

Got the chance to buy a fiesta RS turbo, its seen better days (as its stood in a field for 3 years)...

Needs a bit of welding underneath and alot of TLC to get back on the road but the potential is there...

BUT...

Im thinking of getting a mk3 shell and re-shelling it into it???

Dont really know what to do?

Pro's and con's?

Pro if cost of welding and TLC is less than a mint rolling shell, con if it isn't...

Always nice to have a genuine logbook but I'd rather a mint Turbo either way personally

i would restore the FRST mate. But that would just be my opinion. Either way mate, the choice is essentially yours.

I would price up the cost of the welding and see how much its realisticlly going to cost you to get the car back on the road.
