i noticed a while back people pay silly money for brand new or really clean header tanks, saw a series 1 clean alloy wheel go for £70 and it was just one wheel!![](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/shocked.gif)

just wondering what other stuff for this car will fetch good money that is a rare find?

Tow eye covers, the holy grail of S1 ownership!
As said MINT dashes get top dollar as well.
Another thing is people commonly use mk4 doors when restoring them but the door lock pins dont line up with the door cards so maybe somebody would be prepared to pay a bit extra for a good set of mk3 doors.

Anything that is subject to being tired on an S1 is hard to find in good/mint condition, as they all are usually the same.
So if you have something in mint condition that are rare, it will be worth £££££
someone creating show car will have spent alot of cash, and if a dash, or header tank, or sunroof or trim etc etc is letting ti down, they they will pay top whack to get a mint on if it finishes the car off.
When you consider people will pay out thousands on a rebuild, 500 quid on one item that makes it 100% is not a big deal
