question my s2 rst engine now when under load cuts the car clean out for a couple of seconds backfires then comes back on again as normall what could be making it do this????

sounds like its hitting the boost limiter.

if ya dont tell anyone the answa's to the questions asked how can they tell u how to fix it..
if it aint chipped its hitting overboost, which means its running to much boost for the standard ecu. either get it chipped, or turn the boost down.
if not its sumink else

sorry it is chipped pace intercooler dash 31 cossie plugs new ford leads cap and arm its running 10psi it still does it even if i wind the boost in and down to around 6psi it just seems to cut out all the power then back up again real short backfire ???????????????????
