Pete, i,d say 450+ for a 170 plus run imo..it,s harder than folks think, not cossie speedo MPH either... proper timing gear..

I did 161 in my 457 saff, that was with proper gear, but i shit out then, tbh i don,t think there was much left..

150 surely a stage 3 cossie would do this easy enough...

Ive seen 170mph (gps) with well under 500bhp out of my 3 door, would imagine a saph isnt very different.

That was on a stretch of autobahn (the M5 I think the germans call it ) and was over a FAR bigger distance than is available at brunters.

400 bhp managed 169.9 in a saph.

seemed to take a "500bhp" engine to do 180, most were around 180 to 183mph iirc.

Euan had 500 wheels, so circa 540 to 550bhp I think and made 186 or was it 187?
