well your standard pistons are going to need changing unless you want to run like 5 psi the non turbo mfi system is different to an escort rs turbo mfi setup so that will all need chaging tbh mate a conversion would be a much easyer option

Buy the RST engine mate, best starting point for you.

It really only leaves you with the option of whether you want the easy ERST swap or go for slightly trickier EFI FRST unit, thats a better choice to make.

Good luck

pretty similar conversionwise to the MFI unit as youll be replacing the whole engine anyway. basically it just depends if the donor car you buy will be a FRST or an ERST

as above tho, replace the engine with an RS Turbo one, dont try and turbocharge the XR3i one

for the fiesta unit you'll need (of the top of my head so might be bits missing) obviously the complete engine, but get a hold of the ERST exhaust manifold and as best a condition T3 as a T25 comes with the fiesta.

Management, loom, sensors (pref OFAB, comes with 3 bar map sensor)
fuel pump

Not sure what if anything is needed for the instruments though, not sure if the plug straight in or not.

that should see you enough for a basic transplant, I'm sure someone will correct me if I've missed anything
