Default death....

anyone fear it?

I didnt really until recently........i just find days go so very quickly and stuff and i suppose its the fact that you leave someone behind you really love, as indeed i do, or they leave you behind......then theres emptiness....i think as long as i have a good innings in life i think ill be okay lol but i kind of get paranoid now ie what if i do this, what i do this, i get a tad paranoid being in cars with other people etc etc
or is it just me?

I was always so scared of dying, thinking I have to live to at least 60 to get me moneys worth. I'm not too fussed anymore, as long as it's quick.

I didn't used to care.... Took silly risks never was afraid of dying....

Until I met my partner who has changed my life, really has changed my view on how valuable every day is.

never cared until I was walking to the docs fearing I had testicular cancer!!

Was thinking, please god let me be ok.

After five minutes of having maggie thatchers look a like stroke and fondle my balls I was told they are fine, after that I always had a bigger respect for life.

Think when I have kids it will also have a bigger part in how you live your life.

I don't fear my own death at all but i do appreciate life.

However, i do fear those that i love dying/suffering in anyway. And also forgetting those i love.

it's gonna happen so fuck it, enjoy life.
I'd rather die at 40 and had a good life then die at 80 and it been bland.

Either way i'm not welcome up there and him down there thinks i'm gonna take over

I used to fear death as a child but dont now.

Id say theres 2 kinds of fear of death, concious fear and the inbuilt survival instinct.

Its very hard to overcome your survival instinct except during serious mental illness, but it is easy to consiuosly not to fear death. eg suicidal thoughts etc

Thats some concise shit...

Been liberated just by properly knowing everyones a products of them and theirs, easy concept but very easy to overlook. Long as your humble across the board lifes as long as it's gonna be IMO.

And yeah FAR too short so just aim above anything you thinks possible and live it, won't get any jump up's or favours generic as that sounds. Can imagine what kids can bring to your life now....

Not afraid of death in the slightest. If it comes tomorrow then so be it. If it comes in 60yrs, then thats how it's supposed to be... So absolutely no fear of death, or when I'll die, at all...

Dying on the other hand - not sure I'm too keen on that! Not sure I'm looking forward to dying as such - when it comes it comes, just hope it's not painful or prolonged!

I fear an accident which paralyses me from the neck down more than death itself.

After all, if you are dead you dont know anything about it anyway.

I can't really say whether I fear death or not, to be honest I have never thought about my own death.... however, since having Enya, I do fear for her safety and wellbeing.

Couple of years of utter agony as you slowly rot away from cancer from the inside out might change your mind, but of course by then it'll be too late for you to do anything about it.

not scared of death, but tbh, everytime Lee starts nailing the car, i always have images of having a blowout at high speeds and us crashing and both being dead leaving the kids with dead parents is that paranoia? lol

and in 10 years time, when youve had a few strokes, lost 1 side of your face, cant depend on yourself to look after yourself and think about what a miserable life you have, maybe you will think back at how eating healthy and looking after yourself seemed like a much better option in the long run

I often think of death and fear it, the 64 million dollar question is how you go,

when you're 90 odd years old with all your family round your bedside and you slip off into a deep sleep, that's the ideal way to go imo.

getting an illness that cuts you to the bone, getting shot, stabbed, burned, blown up are a few ways that are not too pleasant

When you're numbers up it's up. I don't worry about it, I'm more concerned about how I go. I wouldn't want to be one of these people who lingers on for ages, not being able bodied, can't get out of bed and unable to do anything. That's what concerns me. If I went tonight in my sleep, then so be it. As long as it's quick and doesn't hurt I'm not fussed. I live on my own and have no kids so no-one to be concerned about left behind, my brother is settled down and mum and dad have got each other so they'd all get through.

I am terrified of dying, since I've had Bethany my mortality has been on my mind a lot. I'm also frightened of losing members of my family, I just want them to go on forever.

Things that play on my mind a lot are the choices I've made in my life and whether those choices will have a bearing on my future health and ultimately lead me to die young(ish). I don't know why but I've always had a feeling that I wouldn't die in a normal way and that I would 'go before my time'. God that sounds so morbid doesn't it, I guess feeling like that compounds my fear though

And I also think euthanasia should be legal in this country for terminal illnesses. Why prolong the agony when you can go with a bit of dignity and not suffer ?

Not scared of dying, I just don't want to. Far too much potential left for good times

I dont have any family, kids, partner etc, so I have to admit that it doesn't bother me in the slightest (might explain my driving style! Lol! ).

I'd rather not die though! I'm only 26 so got a few more things to do and see yet!

I just want it to be quick and not see it coming, and I'd rather there wasn't anything after this life, I just want to disappear into the air, like a big fart.
