well what can i say i had ago at my x once for doing it because i never thort it was posible then gess what my sony c905 went down the pan

the thing was still working for about 10 mins i blew it off with the air line and it was fine but then sending a txt it terned off and has not terned on since thank god i have insurence

My mrs dropped her iphone in the bath the other night and I got that working again (and they are supposed to be terrible with water) It was properly drenched too.

I went online to find out how to split it open, did so and put hair dryer on it for ages then stuck it in the airing cupboard. It dried out over night but didn't start working properly until later the next day.. it now appears fine.

you should have turned it off right away until it dried out. itll probably be fucked now and most insurance doesnt cover for water damage for some reason. it must be a common occurance phone down toilet claims.

i did same with my phone put it on top of rad for 6 hours it works fine but batterie only lasts a day

Not read the whole thread so sorry if im repaeting any one dude!

Turn it off, take the battery out and put it some where dry!

Its the current going through the circuit while its wet that causes corrosion on the boards, so if you take the battery out it should dry out and be fine

Too right though, it should dry out after a while and be ok, I've put a phone through the washing machine before and it was alive again after a few days.
