Default FAO JTECH M5 mods have started ;0)

Didnt take long for the mods to start lol

Wanted to break up the body colour at the rear so painted the rear diffuser black and also added the number place surround and new plates

And as my interior trim (brushed aluminium)was marked to shit by previous owners i wanted something different for it.So ordered this carbon fabric from the states and here are the results

Lovely car. I like the rear splitter.

Not keen on the plates though.

Liking the carbon stuff, looks good. Do you have a link to where to get it from?
Lovely colour choice as well

Plates and plate surround make it look too "fussy" IMHO ... too much going on. Sorry.

PMSL at Yappstar, I think he's getting at the same thing as me!

Any more details on the cabon fabric? How it's applied etc.

It looks nice, not too shiney like a lot of carbon finishes.

As above mate and it is applied using spray adhesive. Quite tricky to to do and plenty of patience needed but covered sub box's etc before so was not the first time i've done this kind of thing

the top of the bootlid please, where the spolier sits.

i have an m3 spoiler for the 3dr,, but its a bit short lol

the m5 is the same style spolier, but longer i think

arse, just measured the 3dr boot, its 52" and the m3 spoiler is just over 46"

Agreed!!! plus then it will look like an ordinary 5 series trying to pretend to be an M5
